On Sunday, I checked out a sidewalk sale at a thrift store I have never been to. It was set up like an Antique mall, with different stalls for different sellers. I wasn't really looking to buy anything, but sometimes you find that perfect piece at a great price. I fell in love with Persian brass serving tables at least a decade ago, but I have never seen one in real life. One of the sellers had one marked half price (which was already $100 less than the one I saw a decorator buy at a flea market a few weeks ago), and I talked him down in price a little more. Our old coffee table was starting to go wonky in the joints, so this is a great replacement. It just needed a light cleaning, and some oil on the base.
