I hope everyone is off to a great new year. We managed to get a few projects done around the house- with lots more to still do!

I saw the idea to use a mirror for a headboard online. It was the perfect solution for our bed- we have an antique dresser with matching mirror that I didn't want to use on the dresser, and we needed a cheap headboard. This worked out great, although the mirror still needs to be lowered a bit. The bedding is all from Target- except the patterned pillowcase that I found at a discount store. I love that the bead is really easy to make and unmake, and the  texture of the duvet cover has a kind of messy look so that even if I lay down to take a nap it looks ok when I get up. Now I am working on getting new alarm clocks for us- hubby's is broken and mine is just ugly. I also want a third clock for my vanity table. Hopefully I can find something cheap and appropriate.
