Today was one of "those" days. The Rusty Knight left for an overnight business trip yesterday, so I am already a little out of sorts when I got up this morning (even though the cat slept with me). At first I thought I would get up and go swim at the gym, but then I remembered how crowded the pool had been the other morning. Then I thought about going to my favorite Water Aerobics class mid morning. By the time I had cleaned up several accidents from the dog, I was shifting my plans to swimming in the afternoon, and spending the day in loungewear watching TV. Then I realized that Princess Stomping Foot had dance class at 4- I would have to be done, showered and home in time to take her. So I picked myself up from the couch and got ready to go to the gym. I got in the car and heard that disturbing click when I turned the key. My car battery has been dying a lot lately, but since I had driven just last night I didn't expect this. Needless to say, instead of swimming at the gym I was charging the car battery. While that was going on, Wonder Teen got invited to go see a movie. Now I have to get Her Ladyship to dance, feed Wonder Teen and drop him at the movies, pick Princess Stomping Foot back up and feed her and myself, and then pick Wonder Teen back up. I hope the car stays charged, since Rusty won't be back until late tonight!
Anyway, I am wearing a new tunic from Lands End Canvas that came yesterday. I had been looking for a floral T shirt style woven tunic for about a year, so I was happy this fit well when it came. I've paired it with Gwyneth suede booties, Target socks, Gap jeans, a Gap Outlet leather belt, Eddie Bauer denim jacket and a hand knit hat.
At least something turned out today!
