Mom's hip replacement surgery went well, and she is on the road to recovery.

The same cannot be said for the birdies in my yard. Yesterday, we found remains of 3 separate birds, and the Mocking Bird has taken to dive bombing my black cat. I think that all three cats may be be playing Catch the Birdie now. I found my outside cat curled up by a carcass, and the female cat napping next to a pair of legs. I'm hoping that the babies get big enough to get away from them soon.

Last night, I went to a Yoga class and an Everlast Shadow Box/Amped Abs class. The Yoga teachers are all very different in the way that they teach class. I haven't decided yet what I like and don't like. This Yoga teacher is leaving this class to teach at the new gym, so it will be a different teacher next week. One of the other classes had a substitute, so I haven't had that teacher either. The Shadow Box was not my favorite class. The teacher has a tendency to yell, which makes her mike cut out so you can't hear what she is yelling anyway. She also doesn't seem to have any sense of rhythm. She had music playing, but she told us not to listen to the music but go by her counts on the punches. But then she didn't keep a steady count. I don't see why she couldn't use the rhythm of the music to time the counts. It was very distracting. In the Kick Boxing class, that is what the teacher does and it makes it really easy to catch on. The Kick Boxing class is tonight, and I am hoping that The Rusty Knight is home early enough so that I can go. I think that has been my favorite of the cardio classes. Maybe that and the Step class. If he isn't home in time, I can still go to a Salsa class. It has the same teacher as the Shadow Box though, so I'd rather do the Kick Boxing class that I know I like. I think there are only three classes that I haven't tried out.

Today we are cleaning and going to Super Target. The kids have a way of not telling me we are out of something until we are completely out of it. Today it was dry cat food, last week it was dishwasher soap. I'm always having to run back to the store, even though I've already grocery shopped. I went through my coupons today. I haven't been doing a very good job with those lately. I have to get back to saving now that CVS is doing their Extra Care Bucks again.

My Threadless order is already shipped. I can't wait to see everything in person. Since I am already Christmas shopping, I am adding the book Style Evolution to my shopping list. I will pick this up when I see it, and save it for my Christmas Stocking. It seems like I start picking things up about this time every year. It's better than getting hit all at once with the bills and shopping.
