I can't believe that it's June, and I am sleeping in flannel pajamas. Of course, now with Swine Flu going pandemic, anything can (and probably will) happen!
Well, my Shopping Ban is officially over now. It's a good thing, too, because I bought a little sweater at Target last night. It wasn't the one that I had in mind, but I think it will work for me. Yesterday, I decided to up-date my measurements at MyShape.com. The last time that I put them in was months ago, and it said I was an "A" shape (meaning pear). This time, I came up an "M" shape. The description sort of fits, but since they seem to be the only people that use the letter terms for body shape, I didn't really know what that meant. I asked Angie from You Look Fab what she thought, and she says that I am currently an Apple, but that I may be moving to an Hourglass. Well, that was a disappointment. I went from a bad body shape, to the *worst* body shape. I can't believe that I dropped 45 pounds to become an Apple shape! I guess the good news is that I am still losing and may change. I don't know if I will ever be an hourglass, as I never really did have a waist and the older I get the less of a waist I have, but even a rectangle would be better than a damn Apple. So, now as I look for clothes at least I have a new direction to go toward- camouflaging my mid section. Angie also said that volume works for me, so I am exploring that.
What I really need are some sweats! I need to take myself to Old Navy and get something comfy and warm for miserable days like today when I just want to curl up with a hot water bottle and read novels all day. I started watching the mini series Wives and Daughters on Netflix last night, and I may just watch that all day. Princess Stomping Foot is too sick for the park, and I am not about to go jump around at the gym tonight, so it's a perfect Pajama Day. Maybe I will dig the pair of sweats that is two sizes too big for me out of the Goodwill bag and just wear those today. Just kidding- here's what I wore today:
Peep Toe Flats- $12 at Famous Footwear sale
Vera Wang Leggings- $20 at Kohl's
Polka Dot Dress- $17 on clearance at Target
Lt. Blue Cami- $5 on sale at old Navy
Turquoise Necklace- $10 at Cost Plus
I'm wearing the cardi that I picked up at Target last night, but I haven't decided on it yet- that's why the sticker is still on. Keep or Return?
GRAND TOTAL= $64 (or $82 with the cardi)

I like the cardigan...it'll be a nice summer piece as well as fall with the shorter sleeves...
