Yesterday, I decided to turn a tunic/dress into a top. I'm not sure why, and I'm not sure that I love the result, but it's done now. I think it would look good with a denim pencil skirt , my new pearl necklace and nude heels. I tried on a denim pencil skirt at Old Navy in white the other day. I tried a 12, and it was a little tight, but it did fit. They were out of the dark denim, which is what I really wanted. I can feel myself hinging on going down a size again, and I am sorely tempted to order that skirt. I also have a few items in my closet that are getting loose (including my current denim skirt). I wish there was some way to trade them in. I'm considering ebay, but shipping is such a pain.
Even though it is that time of the month and I have not been able to get all of my workouts in this week, I am really pleased with my progress. Every once in a while I just see a visible change, or notice the fit of things altering suddenly. I'm pretty sure that I will have a good weigh in tomorrow. I had a really great workout today, and I was really happy to get back to the gym.
My Threadless tees should be here tomorrow and that will be fun to see how they work. I am anticipating having to cut the crew neck off for a more flattering fit, but we'll see. Since I'm having this fit of creative alterations, I need to work on my white pants, too. Now that I can just about wear them, I decided that the pocket needs to be sewn closed and the pocket lining taken out. It shows through too much, and makes it look bulky.
Here's what I am wearing today:
Sofft Flats- $25 on sale at 6pm.com
Blue Dress- $7.50 on clearance plus coupon from old Navy
White Cropped Cardi- $20 on sale at Kohl's
Vintage Pin- free heirloom
Watch- $15 on sale at Sears
GRAND TOTAL= $67.50
